Yara Yousry is an architect, award-winning entrepreneur, and Founder & CEO of Texula, a material innovation startup transforming banana agricultural waste into high-performance textile fibers. A graduate of The American University in Cairo (AUC), she is a ReGen Fellow at the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and a START Fellow at the University of St. Gallen. Her work at the intersection of architecture, sustainability, and material innovation has earned international recognition, including being recognized as a Change Maker by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) at the IUCN Leaders Forum in Geneva in 2024.
