Mustafa Ramzi brings a wealth of expertise to his role as the Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management International at Emirates NBD-Egypt, a role he has excelled in since 2023. With a proven track record of success in leading and growing businesses across diverse markets, Ramzi is visionary leader poised to drive Emirates NBD-Egypt Bank's expansion.

Prior to that, Ramzi served as EMEA Head of International - Wealth Management and Personal Banking at HSBC based in Dubai, UAE from the period of 2021 to 2023. In this role, he spearheaded the development and execution of regional growth strategies in managing retail banking and wealth management activities across multiple countries Some of which are Bahrain, Oman, Turkey, Armenia and Greece.

Mustafa Ramzi nurtures an impressive career trajectory in which he held the position of Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management in HSBC Egypt from 2016 to 2021, where he forged strong client relationships, driving growth to new heights. Ramzi's significant tenure at HSBC incorporated his assignment of prestigious roles based in Dubai, UAE, where he held Head of Network Distribution position (2010-2014), Head of UAE Cards (2009 – 2010) and Regional Head of Direct banking during (2007 – 2009). His significant experience is built upon a foundation of prior experience at National Bank of Dubai, Dubai Islamic Bank, and Mashreq Bank.

Ramzi holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Baker College, Michigan USA (1997-2000) and a Diploma in Communication Engineering from Ajman University (1993-1997).

Complementing his rich professional experience, he has actively pursued continuous learning through prestigious programs such as Strategic Leadership in the Era of Disruption at the University of Oxford's Said Business School and the Next Generation Development Program at HSBC in London, India, and China.

Ramzi’s commitment to professional development is further evident in his participation in various specialized training programs, including those at HSBC, Harvard Business School, Shanghai, and Zurich Insurance among others.
