Laila Helmy

Laila A. Helmy is a digital transformation and technology leader with over 15 years of experience spanning banking, healthcare, technology, data, and digital innovation.

She currently leads Digital Transformation for Consumer Banking at FABMISR, where she focuses on reimagining customer journeys, accelerating digital adoption, and translating emerging technologies into practical solutions that create measurable value for customers and the business.

Before joining banking, Laila spent a decade at AstraZeneca, where she held leadership roles across IT, digital innovation, data, and transformation. Her work included digital health, customer engagement, analytics, technology-enabled patient journeys, and collaborations across the healthcare ecosystem.

Laila holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Cairo University. She continues to invest in her learning at the intersection of technology, business, and transformation, most recently completing the AI in Healthcare program from Johns Hopkins University.
