An architect by education, Cherif’s career path is a true testament that design, whether architecture, interior, product or graphic, are interconnected always coexisting side by side within general culture to form a unique body of expression.
After winning and participating in several international design awards such as Alessi’s “Life On The Move” back in 2000, Cherif has designed hundreds of products for Egyptian, as well as European companies, all translating his individual vision on design and culture further affirming his design language that has become instantly recognizable.
He seamlessly incorporates his Eastern and Western heritages in a unique blend making his projects rich in their measured simplicity.
Currently based in Cairo, he is one of the main protagonists of Egyptian contemporary design.
