Benjamin Meier works with GIZ’s CATAL1.5°T initiative, supporting climate-tech ventures across West Africa to access capital and scale. His work focuses on helping companies scale, investment readiness and innovative financing approaches, including Capital Stacking and repayable grants. He works closely with entrepreneurs, investors and ecosystem partners to bridge financing gaps and mobilise private capital for African climate ventures. Based in Dakar, he supports CATAL1.5°T’s activities across Francophone West Africa.
