Wakid Marrei

Wakid Marrei is Chief People Officer and Board Member at Nawah Scientific Group, where he leads the organization’s people strategy, leadership development, organizational transformation, and talent agenda across a growing regional and international footprint.

With extensive executive HR and management experience across Egypt, the GCC, Europe, and Africa, Wakid has held leadership roles with multinational and regional organizations including the British Council, Al-Futtaim, Pepsico, Al Safi Danone, and Lafarge.

His work sits at the intersection of people, business, leadership, and technology. He is particularly interested in how organizations can use talent intelligence, competency-based decision making, data, and AI to identify potential, develop leaders, improve organizational decisions, and build future-ready workplaces.

Wakid is also the architect of Nawah’s People for Growth (P4G) strategy and has led the development of integrated talent, performance, competency, succession, and organizational development frameworks designed to translate business growth into sustainable people capability.
