As an active investor and mentor, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of high-growth startups and investment ventures across diverse industries, including Green Energy, Fintech, AI, E-commerce, Deeptech, and Agritech.
Nagy’s investment acumen is rooted in a deep understanding of capital markets, deal structuring, and strategic growth. His expertise was honed during his tenure at BP, where he spent 22 years negotiating multi-million-dollar agreements with governments across Egypt, Trinidad, and the US. He also held key leadership roles as CEO of United Gas Derivatives Company (UGDC) and board member for BP Egypt, Natural Gas Vehicle Company (NGVC), and BP’s LNG, oil trading, and Castrol Lubricants divisions. His background in banking, including experience at the Export Development Bank of Egypt, further solidified his ability to navigate financial landscapes and assess high-value investments.
As an angel investor, Nagy actively supports and funds startups through MINT Incubator, AUC Venture Lab, DarE Incubator, Raya, and Cultiv Ventures.
