Karim Wassim

Karim Wassim is a Chief Operations Officer and delivery leader who turns organizational chaos into working systems. Across 16 years in the EU, APAC, US, and MENA regions, he has worked inside Vodafone's global services organization, led enterprise delivery across 10 countries at Orange Business Services, and built and led a PMO spanning four business units at Majid Al Futtaim. He now serves as COO of PodMedia Network, running operations across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain; where a growing share of his work involves using AI and automation to let small teams carry loads that once needed whole departments.

Alongside his corporate roles, Karim has spent the past nine years inside Egypt's entrepreneurship ecosystem, running workshops, consultations, and capacity building programs for founders and early-stage teams. His work sits where corporate operational rigor meets the resource-constrained reality of startups, translating each into terms the other can actually use.

He holds an MBA in International Business and is a certified PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and Scrum Master. He is known for designing systems that respect how teams actually work rather than imposing process for its own sake; turning "we need structure" into frameworks teams genuinely adopt.
