Amr Soliman

A veteran in the financial technology space, leading a software solutions company since 1999. “eVision” designs & builds specialized technology solutions for the banking & finance industry in Egypt and the MEA Region. Eng Soliman is also a co-founder and chairman of Tarmiiz.com, a startup in the field of Real World Asset Tokenization based on blockchain technology.

With a bachelor degree in construction engineering and a masters of science in Project Management for National Development Projects, Eng. Soliman kicked off his career spending 5 years working for the Egypt Social Fund for Development, with diverse experiences from managing public works and community development projects, to micro & sme loans programs, to donor management and financial control of funds. This has very much shaped Eng. Soliman’s deep belief in sustainable development.

Eng. Soliman chairs the Economic & Environment committees at the National Council for Women (NCW) since 2016, and spearheads the National financial inclusion program for digital village group saving and lending for the rural women of Egypt. “Ta7wisha” is a technology platform designed to organize the women in groups, link financial institutions, avail digital saving, instant micro loans and micro investment opportunities; and accumulate individual/group credit history. Data is leveraged to attract green finance for rural women led, environment friendly, sustainable revenue generating projects.

Eng. Soliman also sits on the boards of Nasser Social Bank, the Rural & Environmental Industries Support Fund, and the National Steering Committee for Women Financial Inclusion with the Central Bank of Egypt and the Federation of Micro Finance.
