SUMMARY:Designing for People: The Intersection of Architecture and Human
 Behavior
LOCATION:Small Theater\, Bibliotheca Alexandrina\, Alexandria
DESCRIPTION:With Mohmed Fawzy\, Ahmed Assem\, Cherif Morsi\, Hisham Ghora
b.\n\nArchitecture has the power to shape far more than the built environ
ment\, it influences how people think\, feel\, interact\, and experience
the world around them. From the flow of a workplace and the comfort of a
healthcare facility to the atmosphere of a retail destination or public s
pace\, every design decision has a direct impact on human behavior\, well
-being\, and social interaction.\nThis session explores the intersection
 of architecture\, psychology\, and human-centered design\, examining how
behavioral science\, neuroscience\, and environmental psychology are resh
aping the way architects and designers approach the built environment. Pa
nelists will discuss how elements such as spatial planning\, natural ligh
t\, biophilic design\, acoustics\, color\, and materiality can enhance we
 llness\, productivity\, creativity\, inclusivity\, and emotional connecti
 on.\nBringing together architects\, designers\, developers\, and behavior
al experts\, the discussion will highlight how placing people at the cent
er of the design process creates environments that are not only functiona
l and aesthetically compelling\, but also healthier\, more engaging\, and
better equipped to meet the evolving needs of modern communities.\n\nhtt
